Birmingham UFO Group holds lectures from international speakers who have made outstanding leaps in the understanding and development of the UFO subject. We also hold regular documentary nights and other events.
We would like to state that everybody is welcome to our meetings and lectures and membership is not required. BUFOG welcomes all new comers, whether you have previous knowledge of the subject or completely new to it. Note that BUFOG is not a money making organization in any way, and entrance fees go towards paying for the venue and events.

BUFOG Clee Hills Sky Watch 2016
On the evening of Saturday 15th October it's time once again for BUFOG to go sit under the stars in the hopes of seeing something out of the ordinary crossing the sky (Or just getting another look at the ISS). However we won't be returning to Cannock Chase until next year. This time, for a change of scene, we will be heading to an entirely new location - Cleehill in Ludlow. Offering a superb view of the surrounding land in all directions and with a conveniently placed free car park, the area is perfect for a night of watching the sky.
As is traditional for BUFOG's sky watches, we will initially meet up at a nearby bar for a bit of a social before heading for the hill. The chosen pub to inflict ourselves upon is The Crown Inn at Hopton Wafers, roughly 2 miles East. The meet up time is between 8-9pm. Around 9.30pm after a drink and a chat we will make our way to Clee Hill, park and head on up the slope.
The sky watch will go on till the early hours, weather permitting. There is no set end time at present, and you are free to leave early if you need to. It is recommended that you bring with you warm clothing, a torch, any camera/viewing equipment you have, and snacks/drinks.
Please note that due to local law enforcement no bonfires or fireworks are permitted this time around. However instant BBQ's are still fine, so expect some hot food to be available at some point in proceedings! Official sky watch mascot Bob the inflatable alien will be back, and our Chairman Dave will also go over some local UFO sightings which have taken place over the years including some he has investigated directly.
Everyone is welcome to attend the sky watch, not just official BUFOG members. Children and animals are also most welcome. Hope to see you there! Please help spread the word via suitable websites and publications.
